PROGRAM CERTIFICATION AND REVIEW
New opportunity for organizations to submit their training
curriculum for NIDE's organization certification approval
process.
ARCHITECTURAL / INTERIOR DESIGN REVIEW
A new opportunity is underway for those who are seeking
training in evidence-based design for dementia care.
If your organization is interested in participating in
research, NIDE is here to support you. NIDE partners with
organizations to conduct research that aims to push the field
forward, as it relates to dementia care and education.
At the National Institute for Dementia Education (NIDE), we work
with elder service organizations – such as senior care facilities,
memory care units, hospitals, and universities studying memory
disorders – to create unique certificate programs that will improve
the way we care for seniors who have dementia.
Our dementia certificate programs are highly beneficial as
they:
- Offer high quality education
- Validate skill sets for associates
-
Ensure organizations stay up-to-date on the latest trends and
research in the field of dementia care
Who We Are
We’re a third-party validation and verification service. We work
with your organization to enhance your training through
consultation, review, and collaboration. We believe that, as an
industry, we must work together to create a better future for
those with dementia.
What We Do
The third-party certificate program serves as a quality indicator
for core competencies in the field of dementia care and services as
a certificate registry and non-biased third-party verification
service. NIDE assists with building a training program that fits
your needs and prepares healthcare professionals for a NIDE-approved
examination.
There are four levels of certification based on the attendee’s
working knowledge and experience in the field of dementia.
Organizations that seek NIDE third-party certification approval must
follow the Third-Party Certification Rubric and Curriculum in its
entirety. Those eligible for our programs include:
-
Healthcare Professionals (Nurses, Healthcare Directors, CNAs,
etc.)
- Architects and Designers
- First Responders
- Families and Advocates
- Researchers
- Higher Education (Healthcare students)
